Reducing Reoffending Fund Reopens For Applications

I am writing to inform you that, following successful allocations during 2018, I am reopening my reducing reoffending fund for applications.
I am delighted to say that £20k has been allocated to each of the four local Reducing Reoffending Boards and is now available for charities, organisations and partners to bid for projects that work with offenders in their areas and help integrate them back into the community – without the need for match funding.
I have already visited a number of the projects that have benefited from the funding provided so far and I am pleased to see these are meeting the priorities in my Police and Crime Plan whilst addressing local concerns.
I want to ensure that any organisations who deliver reducing reoffending work in your area, particularly trauma informed approaches, are aware of the fund and submit an application. I would also like to highlight that applications for smaller amounts are welcome alongside larger joint bids for something that reflects the area.
Policing alone cannot prevent people reoffending and this funding provides great value for money for projects that make a difference across the county.
Applications are now open and close at 9am, 25th February. For more information call 01772 533587 or visit www.lancashire-pcc.gov.uk/our-money/grant-funding/lancashire-reducing-reoffending

Yours sincerely,
Clive Grunshaw
