Garstang Town Council is looking to Co-Opt Two Councillors to fill the vacancies left by the recent uncontested Town Council election.
As a councillor, you will be representing your community and keeping it a great place to work and live. You will be supported in your role and will be expected to undertake training. You should be comfortable working electronically. You should have a positive outlook and a can-do attitude and be willing to work as part of a team.
Any person wishing to be considered for co-option should apply to the Clerk by Friday 16 August 2019 by email email@example.com or in writing to Garstang Town Council, Garstang Police Station, Moss Lane Garstang, PR3 1HB
An extraordinary Town Council meeting will take place on Tuesday 10/9/19 at 7.30pm, to allow interested persons to come and give a short presentation to the Council as to why they would like to become a Councillor and what they would like to achieve. The Council should then be in a position to fill the vacancies.
