A drive-through mobile coronavirus testing unit is to open at Albert Street car park in Fleetwood as part of the Government’s UK-wide drive to increase testing.
The mobile testing unit will be in place from Monday 9 November – Thursday 12 November and Tuesday 17 November – Friday 20. November and will be open from 10:30am – 3:30pm at Albert Street car park in Fleetwood.
Testing is available to anyone with symptoms, with additional support for vulnerable groups and people with disabilities. You must book in advance in order to get a test, and you will only be able to book from the evening before testing begins.

- High temperature
- New continuous cough
Walk-through testing will also be available through appointment only. You can call 119 to book your place.
The car park will remain closed to the public for the foreseeable future. The nearest council car park is at Custom House Lane.
Anyone testing positive for the virus will be contacted by NHS Test and Trace to help them track their contacts. This will help people to identify who they may have been in close contact with, advising them to stay at home for 14 days to prevent them from unknowingly spreading the virus. They will be advised to also book at test if they develop symptoms.
